Hey all, The new build 75330-pte is now on PTE. If interested, take a look! I have listed a few things below we are looking for testing on, as well as a list of changes made, and known issues (as this is test, there are plenty). If you have map feedback, balance feedback, or just random bugs you find, please reply to this post. Our designers will be reading it and watching replays. In the near future they may be doing custom games so they can spectate as well. The goal here is to get as much feedback as possible before going live with this new stuff, so leaderboards can be as fun as possible. Things we want to test Ranked maps are updated with custom metal placement and adjusted CSG’s based on user feedback More open start spots Custom metal placement Fixes where units were getting stuck Chat now available after game Win or loss, GG away! System designer: Gas giants now change color based on temperature Gas giants can now change size Custom metal placement is in M to place B while hovering over spot to delete Can change in settings menu Edit CSG is now a button (as is edit metal) Symmetrical CSG editing will now move both CSG pieces at same time Holding down shift will speed up the movement of CSG editing Reconnecting in game is now 180 seconds instead of 90 If player does not reconnect in 180 seconds, connected player wins Random fixes/changes Landing zone low rez circles are now removed Fix for the straight line issue when looking through atmosphere into space UI messaging tweaks to make all consistent Adjustments to lobby time out timing to make it more reasonable Adjustments to joining a ranked game to make it more intuitive for new players better messaging when waiting New jig explosion Random crash bugs fixed Adjustment to game paused for reconnect text AI tweaks! Bug fixing AI no longer ignores left over unites when creating platoons Neural net updates AI now fires the Annihilaser (sorry about that) Known issues Custom start spot placement is not yet in You can close out of System Designer while planet is loading (not a bad bug, but will need to be fixed to feel polished) Custom metal placement has no footprint so you can place metal on top of each other

First update failed again, second verify completed. Any logs etc can look for now or next time that might help?
BUG: Right-clicking on colour does not change the secondary colour... Yes I'm going to keep harping on about this until it's fixed!
I posted this in the previous PTE update forum but didn't get a response. I'll post it here and see if I get lucky BUG: PTE System Designer Blackscreen Title above pretty much explains my problem. The only other thing is that it still shows the [preview all] [simulate] [clear system] bar on the top and is only black screen where the sun and planets should be.
editing csg on a metal planet is still a bit buggy lol some parts wouldn't respond to commands and update, then had infinite planet loading so i canceled to remove the metal planet and game locked up lol loving metal placement but seems like we cant have any close to each other as they disappear. other than that loving the updates Uber ty

I am so glad my wife is busy tonight. Is there any possibility we'll see pathable/mergable toggles for CSG editing during this PTE stretch? Either way, I'm gonna be testing this builds brains out EDIT: Also CSG palette? I heard mumblings of the modders looking to fill this void, is it possible yet? EDIT 2: That Berlinetta looks fantastic!
Yeah, can you open %localappdata%\Uber Entertainment\UberLauncher\UberLauncherLog.txt and send that? If you've run it successfully since the error, then the log is deleted. You need to copy that file immediately after an error has happened.
Could someone please explain what that means for the Nuke? I'm just not sure how that affects balance.
The below is a guess: Old Behaviour Wait 1 second Expand damage outwards at an initial velocity of 50, expanding faster (acceleration by 100) New behaviour Wait 1.5 seconds Initially expand 4 times as fast (200), but slows down it's expansion (-40) instead of speeding up.
I hit verify again in the same session, so if I'm reading it right, you get both the failure and the following success - in a rather large file.
