When zooming out to the system view in a multiplanet system the performance in pte 71642 seem worse compared to stable 71544. I tested this on the battlefield system (8-10) with 8 players (me and 7 AI) Stable 71544: zoomed in on a planet the game was perfectly smooth switching between planets (using , ) was instantaneous zooming out to overview was a bit choppy but very much playable. Pte 71642: zoomed in on a planet the game was perfectly smooth switching between planets (using , ) smooth, but some textures needed to load. zooming out to overview causes multiple freezes, once it even crashed the game.
