I already reported this as PA#3694, but since it's not a particularly urgent issue (and thus likely to be fixed quickly) I thought it might be useful to warn players. In dynamic alliances, you may check the RESC box to share resources. Team armies without shared armies and galactic war with subcommanders have it automatically. In shared resources, resources that would be "wasted" because your storage is full are split amongst allies running a deficit. You can receive resources any time you have a net negative, even if you still have your own in storage. Due to the bug, the game will report receiving shared resources*, but they won't actually be used when your storage is empty. With any sliver of storage, you can receive the full benefit, but any little spike in demand can drain storage and shut off the sharing again. *With the stock economy bar, this is only visible as 1-3 chevrons during FFA alliances. p.s. It's a shame shared resources can't fill ally storage.
Just checked 68331 and this seems to be fixed. Spoke too soon. I was watching reported economy instead of effective build rate.
