So first there was http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/0/619568192877036558/ And then I posted in that thread. Reply should be below. Later... http://steamcommunity.com/app/233250/discussions/0/619568192851411342/#c619568192887007326 Uber... promote PAMM in some way. The benefits will be immediate.
I'd rather them make an in-game mod market then promote another market place, even though it's well known throughout the community. And relying on mods is what people get from reading that, it just sounds bad (i don't even know a word to describe it) from a new customer's perspective. But yes there needs to be some form of mod "promotion" since there are so many amazing mods here.
Yes it depends on the customer but if i were looking to buy planetary annihilation and read something like that i would automatically think the vanilla balance is terrible. EDIT: i'm talking about the balance mods
As I have said many times, there are many basic things that Uber doesn't do and they should do. Primarily, some basic social networking. The community makes some awesome mods, videos, images and the like. Uber has no reason not to share this stuff. It promotes the community and gets them more engaged. It shows off cool things about their game. It shows off cool mods to improve gameplay. It gets their social followers to share what they share, resulting in more shares. It's just such a basic thing that all companies should do, and Uber isn't doing for some reason. There's a reason why every company on the planet does it. It doesn't make any sense why Uber doesn't.
