Hi guys I was just curious as to weather activating a key can only be done on one computer. I can see the logic in doing that i.e. making sure people payed for the game. But I am getting a new laptop soon. I just bought your cosmic edition for $250. I didnt do my research and found out you cant upgrade steam versions, I just really funded the dev. team I guess! Anyway I would like to start playing on the cosmic ediition asap but I do not want to activate it on this laptop if I wont be able to play it on a new one. Really sorry if this was a stupid question and I wasted your time. Thank you to the people that read all of these posts trying to help people like me!
Your $250 key will be linked to your Uber account, not to your computer. This game won't have any DRM, so you able to install it on all of your computers: 1,2,3 or 5 your even more. Only limitation is: you only able to play with your Uber login in one multiplayer game at time.
Also as long as I understand you bought this game twice: For $70 on Steam, but you won't able to upgrade it. Second time on Uber store. Actually now you able to use two licenses with alpha access. So you might use your Steam ($70) license for friend account. You can link your Steam account with friend Uber account and you both will able to play.
