Problem with Dxtory

Whenever I try to record PA with Dxtory PA just doesn't get detected/targeted by it. I tried launching PA with Dxtory open and launching Dxtory while PA is open. Nothing works. I also tried it with other games like FTL and it worked like a charm.

That's an issue you have to report on the Dxtory forums, not the PA forums. The Dxtory developers have to add recognition for PA, not the other way around.

Dxtory works fine for me. Whether open before or after PA. As soon as I click on the PA window the fps/file write speed is displayed.

I wonder if it has anything to do with Steam. I tried launching it with PAMM, through Steam and by going to the PA.exe in the steamapps folder for PA. Nothing ever pops up in Dxtory as a target.

I suppose you don't run PA though Steam?

It's can conflict with Steam Overlay if you have it enabled. You might try to grab non-Steam version there:
