Hiya forums, it been awhile! Anyway I'd like to try to set up some nice casual privates. I know Chron1cle has been hosting quite a few good private matches lately, but I'd like to host some that are a bit more open and less serious. This includes standard matches, Sumo, Bumper Cars, and what ever goofy games we at the forums have invented. I was thinking we'd try to have the first one on Sunday with the time to be determined. Anyway, post your Xbox gt her if your interested and I'll compile a list. I also need someone to volunteer a host for this, because my connection is terrible. Looking forward to the privates!
from my experience setting dates/times isnt the way to go. just fill your friends list with interested ppl by advertising here or friends u make in public matches etc etc, then when u see a fairly good amount of people on just invite everyone to game/chat, tell them what your doing, and ask them to invite more of their friends. kick ppl from the chat who are in the game to create room for more possibly interested people and explain again about the match to gain interest, rinse repeat. i feel you will have much success this way, thats how most of our private matches happen
Unfortunately my host is absolutely horrendous (people that play with me can attest to this!). The way you put it makes my intentions seem contradictory, but the way I see it, I am organizing the event and am asking for someone to assist me by hosting it. So yes, I am in need someone to host for me because I can't unfortunately. Thanks for the advice, I'm more concerned about getting enough people than trying to find the perfect time for a match! I picked Sunday mainly because I won't be home until then, but from then on whenever I get enough people I'll try and get this thing going!
