To everyone what is your take on private matches that the "pm community" plays in?

massive egos connected to the same match

Can invite who you want
Can choose who is host
Good for testing endorsement setups
Easy to boost in

What's not to love?

Anyway, I just feel that some people in the "pm community" have some animosity towards others outside of it, then again i'm not really a major factor and i try to get along with eryone so hell if i know

too many problems involved

people waiting
poor connections
rage quits
swearing and cussing weather you win or lose
juice huggers
people with no mics
people being stuck playing 1 class
egos
skill levels
k/d padding
getting everyone actually wanting to play
no one is having fun
rules of matches keep changing
people don't always try to win but rather kill and let the match drag out

not that this is all bad but i found it better to play team vs team where you had your party and your leader and you went to war : win or lose

Also found it funny that i was banned from privates at one time cause everyone said i never knew how to play.

Is pub stomping in a party and bumping into another huge party better than a pm? Please reply and keep experience in consideration.

it'd probably be a better experience if the game had enough players/teams that you could search crossfire for parties of 4-5. It would most likely be funner than privates because all you are doing is communicating with your friends but still get the competition.

I don't pubstomp, but I like the challenge.

private matches cater to a specific crowd. they aren't for everyone and I understand that.

A good challenge. 99% of all pub matches are stomping grounds, private matches are for people who know how to play the game.

thats why I say it caters to a specific group of players.

I will always have more fun playing a video game when it is challenging. Before private matches got started, I would go from lobby to lobby looking for deadeye xenonox and anyone else who was a challenge.

some of us think it's more fun to be tested.

some players think it's more fun to play in a more relaxed setting where they're free to do as they please.

Pubs can be fun (spawn striking with friends is fun) but it gets boring after 2-4 games. Private matches don't really get boring at all (I haven't been bored in them).

In Pms you know what to expect in pubs is less obvious and this why I prefer pubs and I never get bored.
