I'm loving this and I'm thrilled to see it in the DLC. There are a few very important options I didn't see though. The ability to choose teams, the ability to kick players, and the ability to start and end the game on command.
Why would you need to kick players? Ready functionality is starting the game. Ending the game is just quitting, Private Matches don't migrate.
If someone leaves and it's uneven, we just want to able to end it and go back to the lobby so we don't have to re-invite everyone. We need to kick people that won't leave or get invited by accident. And what about choosing teams?
Why wouldn't you need to kick players? It's a private match, the entire thought process behind a private match is it's private. What if someone you don't want in joins, and refuses to leave? Goes AFK? Etc. Give party lead, Kick player, Open/Close Lobby, and Shadowrun's Ready up/Down to give host to a specific party are some things that I think should be in the options.
They should make a LAN option along with the suggestions made by Shammas. If a LAN option is made, there will be another HIMILAN!!!
Yeah a kick option is pretty necessary, as well as a option to choose sides. Luckily all you need to do is have your team join first then the other but an option would make it easier.
I have to agree. Good options to include are kick player and team selection, and of course the option to have random teams like it is now. We need kicking because people can be jerks. Options are goodly with team selection
If there is no kick option, I totally plan on griefing/trolling people in lobbies. Just throwing that out there. I can't be held responsible for my actions.
I almost feel as if Uber messed up by accident. They definitely tried to give us what we wanted, but they forgot the most important aspects of private matches; choosing teams, kicking players, and being able to end the game if it's uneven without having to re-host.
Ya def needs to be kick and choose team options Maybe an option to randomize teams on command too? I could see that being useful.
I see, but if you're trying to randomize to make it even, you may as well just choose even teams. Or if you want to change teams, have it bring you back to the lobby after each game so you can change stuff LIKE A NORMAL GAME.
Also another change that needs to be made that is super important. When you join a pub or private late you should spawn with more money. It should be depend on how far along the game is. I know the game give you 50 credits every so often, so that should be added onto your total if you joined the game 8 minutes in. I think that needs to be looked into as well as the kick option, and team select. Also please make a LAN feature so Nexy and I can broadcast this game!!!
