Private Match Etiquette

With the new wave of people entering the competitive MNC community, I feel like it is necessary to make sure EVERYONE is clear on what you are supposed to be doing and what you should definitely not do.

Ready? Good.

1. Don't be a ****. Everyone in the competitive community at least tries to be friendly with one another. There isn't much room for trash-talk.

2. No Exploits. No spawn strikes, spawn mortars, insta strikes, etc.

3. When the Ball is Down, SHOOT IT. I have noticed a few matches in the recent past where a player is sitting on Juice right next to a downed Moneyball and looking for Pro kills. That sh*t needs to end right f*cking now. Just shoot the damn ball.

4. If You Only Play One Class, Please Make it Clear Before the Match Starts. I'm saying this because I really don't like getting 2 minutes into a match to find out we have no Tank and 2 Supports. Nobody is going to harp on you for being a 'one class wonder', we just need to know so we can properly balance teams. If one team has 2 players that can only play Support, it's much better to correct that BEFORE the match actually starts.

You don't need to be great at your class to be successful, you just need to play your class the way the meta-game requires. If you're doing it wrong you are just being a detriment to your team.

P.S. If you become a problem player who habitually breaks these rules, you WILL NOT be invited back. You can take your exploits, trash talk, kill farming and ego out into a Pub lobby where it belongs.

I remember Jon complaining about Payne running around near the spawn with his juiced shotgun instead of hitting the ball.

When Murky's juiced Assassin did the same thing at one PM, someone on my team got a stroke at game chat.

I think it was Teapot or Ramoth.

Yep. That actually was just the icing on the cake for me though. I seem to recall a spawn strike being tossed and a couple spawn mortars as well.

Was that part of last nights matches?

1) When Miracle spawn mortared TEG, who got spawn killed?

2) No, it was like a week ago.

As I understand it, it happened last night too, just after I left. Unintentional stacked teams kill farming instead of shooting a downed ball. F*cking ridiculous and completely unsportsmanlike.

No one is doing team captains to balance teams anymore for some reason.....

Because no one listens. They just want to talk louder than the loudest guy in the lobby. It gets frustrating and typically goes nowhere.

Some people want to look cool and get 10+ kills (not Assault and Gunner) on a single PM to impress competitive stars which I think is really stupid.

The competitive stars are not impressed, trust me.

Deadpool votes that all "real" privates that happen from now on have team captains to help balance the teams and weed out the douchebags. WHO'S WITH ME?

I know and that's really stupid.

I can give perfect examples but it will start a flame war so I won't.

he didnt kill anyone, it hit the door and blew up. i think what was more frustrating was payne's juiced support running around shotgunning on the spawn ring at the same time instead of the downed ball

When captains sort out teams, for the love of god CHANGE YOUR CLAN TAG IF YOU ARE HIDING IT!!!!! (Mainly aimed at Crimson and Troiio). Captains get pissed off when they have to keep muting and unmuting you just to see who you are.
