I don't know if this would work, but maybe make lazers do some good damage to bots, like on par with a rocket turret, but leave the pro damage the same. This way, the enemy team will have to decide whether or not to have a juice fountain or to just let the bots through. Like I said, I'm no developer, so I don't know if this would work, but it's what I think would actually give people reasons to build lazer blazers.
I still can't understand why they nerfed it in the first place. Sure, it ripped through Pros, but better that than be a free juice machine (which is my nickname for it).
yah, I hate it now because I almost hav all the lazer blazer kills I need for the last tag but it is so weak the person needs to be an assassin that is there for like 10 seconds on a 3.3
first, make sure to watch your lazorblazors. second, i think it should be backwards. make it just hold bots up without doing any real good damage to them at all, but do the old damage it did to pros. this would fix juicing, as only tanks could do it and even then a team would have to be blind. taunters would probably be promptly gunned down. and what about bots? a turret that holds them up is simply something. your team would have to kill the bots, or let the lazorblazor take its precious 10 seconds.
Definitely something to the idea of an anti-pro turrent. Having all the turrents have a rock-paper-scissors sort of balance would be nice. laser: Pro killer. rocket: Bot buster. ice: Annoyance generator. longshot: Um...make them worth building?
