Possible bug not on the official issues list

Alright, I looked over the official issues list three times to see if this is on it and it isn't.

What I'm talking about is sometimes, when playing as an assassin, my smoke bomb super jump won't work. I'll press B and immediately press A afterwards like I have done countless times and yet it only deploys the smoke, but doesn't jump. This has gotten me killed several times when I was trying to make my escape from a sticky situation.

Is this a glitch or some kind of design choice? And if it is a glitch, are you guys(Uber) aware of it and are you fixing it in the upcoming patch?

I'm pretty sure that is a lag issue, it's happened to me a few times. Most issues involving skills not working as intended are usually lag from what I know.

Sorry for going off topic, but I think I've played with you something like 2 or 3 times. You're pretty beastly with the gunner.

Back on topic: I've only had the smoke bomb not do the jump for me only in one game and the odd thing is I wasn't really lagging much.

I think it has happened to me while hosting, so that would make it not a lag issue

This isn't technically a bug. When you're throwing the smoke bomb you're immobile for a short period of time. If you press jump during this time you won't jump.

So are you saying that the Assassin's super jump ( right after doing the Smoke Bomb ) was NOT intended?

P.S. I am not trying to call you out at all, I am just trying to figure if this will be patched out or not. It is one of the Assassin's best features so it would be a shame if it was taken out.

He's saying that if you push jump too soon after throwing the bomb nothing will happen. You've got to time it right.

However, after playing ??? hours as assassin I'm relatively certain that I sometimes won't get the super jump when I've timed it correctly. Sometimes the bomb doesn't throw at all, but I think that's just a lag issue.

If you press jump just once and it's too early, you won't jump at all.

If you press jump just once and your timing is correct, you might jump high, might jump normal
