Possible Addition - Save favorite building layouts

I just had an idea I wanted to post.
Hopefully it has some value.

Although I'm still waiting for my beta key,
I have been enjoying watching a few youtube matches
that ended up giving me an idea.

Why not allow players to save a set building layout,
In other words, if a player likes to defend his energy structures
in a specific way, allowing him to build multiple structures in 1-2 clicks

Naturally, all buildings will have to be build individually as always and take
the same resources as normal, it just helps with placement, and might lead to cleaner base designs.

Another reason I bring this up is since PA is a very large strategy game, this would
help free players from having to decide where to place individual parts.

Just my stupid idea.

You can assign hotkeys to build things, but area commands are still coming.
So building in lines with a drag click and placing patches of buildings with a drag and click should be soon,
Hopefully we might get saveable layouts too, but i would suggest autohotkey for that if it doesn't make it to release. (I could write a script that make the commander build a certain layout all the time BUT the layout of the land changes so much from map to map it may not function properly.
Especially metal spots they are never in the same spot, so having things like extractors in preset builds would be nearly impossible to script in.

Yah, metal is the excption.

But i think the varying aspect is something the player would need to consider
when making the chunks.
