Not just the one you play best on, but the one you consider to be best based on balance, playability and overall quality of experience.

Please say the name of the map and why. My vote goes to LazeRazor because it's balanced enough that every game seems winnable. And no class seems to be favored.

We all know the most balanced map is LaseRazor, oddly enough it happens to be one of the worst maps to Snipe on.

I myself have always favored Steel Peel.

It really depends on the class I'm playing. As Assassin I like Spnky and Grenade III, Ammo Mule is fun too. Those maps give you some wiggle room to mask your cloak hum.
LaseRazor works best for most classes though. I consider it the most balanced of all maps.

    I don't think that's odd at all... :p

    LaseRazor followed by Ammo Mule.

The problem with most of the other arenas are lack of viable alternative paths making Sniper fire significantly more viable, and making surprise attacks harder.

    - Lazerazor best
Most interesting layout. Enough sniper view that they don't feel useless, and enough cover that people can actually avoid them if they choose.

    - Grenade III worst
It's fine if there are no snipers, but one good sniper can just dominate the entire map from a single position.

    In this order:

LazerRazor, AmmoMule, Grenade 3, SpunkyCola, SteelPeel

LazerRazor is a balanced, small feel map

Steel Peel....don't even get me started...

AmmoMule, because it's the best and my logic is impeccable.

I hope that Uberent can take note of what makes a good map when making future maps. Or, that they allow the community to make maps.

Maps that are really big and open (grenade 3, spunky cola to some extent) tend to give snipers too much power.

Maps that have a ton of extra "fall space" tend to favor assault & tank (jets to fly if they get knocked off, charge to knock others off)

    Lazer Razor

It appears as though just about everybody prefers Lazor Razor.

All the maps are good enough except Spunky Cola.

That one is completely awful and really needs a rework.

Functionally the equivalent of TF2's Dustbowl 3/2 point. Spam the same corner for 15 minutes and wait for overtime.

The only other map that could use a second look is Steel Peel in reducing the fantastic sight lines from the middle platform into the enemy base. Other than that it's a great small map.

I completely disagree. Gapshot spamming pushes on this map like no ones business, and a 3.3 forward Rock-it allows a turret to be useful on more than just total defense. So long as your team can protect its gapshots the game shouldn't go into overtime.

While I'm not much for spamming gapshots, I can attest to the depth of turret strategy in this map. It's probably the only map where you don't need two rock-its on the moneyball, where longshots can cause problems for the enemy team, and where a well placed and hacked shave-ice becomes a priority target because the opposing team can't do much when they try to push the middle. Also indeed that rock-it on the right side, when hacked, can seriously afford you some map control.

It is my favourite map to play as support, not only for those reasons but also because your shotgun comes in handy almost twofold on that map.

I do not like grenade3 when there is a good sniper on either team. There's basically no side paths. Otherwise it is a fun map as any class except perhaps support. Very few surfaces have cover without being in ejector range, large lines of sight, and lots of open space to get rung out in.

    I enjoy Spunky, because it's a very fast-paced map.

GIII is the worst for me; since I don't play with a team, chances are not a single person except me knows how important map control is.

Not much to do on Spunky. Too much of a deathmatch mess in the middle where all the bots smash into all the players. Getting a victory before overtime requires some absurdly crazy team skill differential.

All it takes is a couple of well timed juicers, which is ironic when you think about it.

As an assassin i love this map. I harass the other team like there's no tomorrow.

G3 i'm a bit sore with these days. I'm starting to love Steel Peel for the myriad of options for ambushes and the severe lack of gapshot and longshot spam as opposed to some actual offensive plays, however.

Starting to notice the locals put up shaveice turrets when i'm on a server.. <_<

Spunky Cola gets very annoying when assassins just go back and spawnkill bots. Especially when your team is too dumb to notice.

That's part of the fun. I spend most of my time on spunky using your teams ejectors. The easiest way to ruin a sins fun? drop a shaveice at the rear nub and keep it healthy. It will slow sins on the upper platform and overall make harassing your team and nullifying your bots much harder. I have juiced before just to destroy the 2 fully upgraded shaveice turrets that were on the field before anyone could react to save them. That's how much of an annoyance they are.

Right, fun for you at the cost of fun for me.
