Pokémon Black Version 2

Is it a good game?

It better be 'cuz I've already ordered a second hand DS and a second hand Black 2.

If it turns out to be as bad as Diamond/Pearl, then I'll never buy any video game... till the release date of Steins;Gate 2/GTA V.

I heard that's it's better than Black and White 1 at least.

B&W1 was very good. Didn't finish it though

What? There are significant differences between porkyman games?

They were going for a Red & Blue generation feel for B&W1, I read somewhere. That fact and it being based on NYC was what made me enjoy it.

I never played Ruby gen or Platinum gen but I did play FireRed and HeartGold and it definitely is a great improvement on those games.

Not really. I mean, they add new mechanics which shifts the "competitive" meta, but you don't need to buy the games if you're looking for the multiplayer portion.

It mainly comes down to subjective opinions about the new pokemon designs / story, and nostalgia.

Agreed. The first generation is actually based on real animals you would see in the wild, the new generations are too.. anime, I guess?

I remember seeing in one of those new gen pokemon games one called vanillish. It was literally just an ice cream cone. Are they THAT stoned for ideas?

I stopped playing Black and White because I got to a cemetery or something and I encountered the Zubat of the game, some candle Pokemon. It would pop up literally every 5 seconds and eventually caused me to put it down for a while and never return

I never understood why people liked Pokemon games. If anything, I'd say screw a DS and get a Gameboy and Metroid Fusion instead.

There have been a few designs in gen 4/5 that I've enjoyed though

I bought HeartGold while not realizing that Hōhō is not on Lugia's level. All of my friends bought SoulSilver, ALL. Then I stopped playing after I beat the 4th gym leader and never return.

Can't the old DS's play Metroid Fusion? It was a GBA game, so the DS's with the GBA slot should be able to run it.

Metroid Fusion was awesome though.

Never played any pokemanz newer than crystal. Snorlax will always be the best.

Fire Red will always be my favorite.

Mewtwo is so OP. I used him alone to beat the Elite 4 and Gary plenty of times.
