WIth the upcoming changes, the MNC gameplay will be awesome. However, the game can be ruined by lag and we have no options to choose a host based on ping/location/connection quality. Please consider your many players outside the US. Team balance is another game breaker. High rank players often get placed in the same team against low ranks. They demolish the opposition and of course stay in the same team for all subsequent matches, meaning you just end up with the low rank players rage quitting.
I couldn't agree more with this. Due to working shifts the only people up when I play are in the US, I've even had games with over a full second of lag. If that wasn't bad enough they proceed to dish out verbal abuse not realising my situation ( 0-4-12 ) I hadn't seen this myself until last night. I thought people were exaggerating but no... four lv 99, two lv 0 split screen & two lv 1 split screen. And guess what... thats right - all 99s together & we weren't even in a party.
I'm 99 and it happens to me all the time. I read in another thread that teams are simply the first 6 players to join the server versus the last 6. But I regularly join a losing team of low ranks mid-match, I guess because of rage quitters, look forward to getting some revenge the following match, only to get placed on the same team as the high ranks. I don't need to dominate a bunch of new players and get my e-peen hard by spawn camping them. I want to play good, evenly matched games. p.s. avoid playing Assassin if you have lag, its the worst class to play with even a slight bit of lag
Haha no, but we did play together last night after I sent this and you seemed to be doing fine. You sent me the message about sniping, but as I said in the reply, sniper passive 3 = cheat mode
It seems like there is a certain time-in-session precedence in dividing the players into teams, where the people who have been there the longest get locked in to their teams, even if they aren't partied up. I sympathize with you Uber... I can only imagine matchmaking is a very tricky process to get right, and simply hope you'll stay on the task.
