I am not going to bring up the lag issues again because we are all aware.

I would like to be able to host MNC games because I have great internet and when I host, I never lag, not even once.

Not only do I not lag, I have never had people complain or quit because of lag either. How do I know? I ask!

"Is anyone lagging?" "Jump if you are lagging."

Many games I play, I get tons of people quitting at the end of the game because of lag related issues. However, when I host a game, the people that leave at the end of the game are very few so far.

Is there ANY chance of a "HOST GAME" option uber?

I also would love a "NOT HOST GAME" button.

I got my internet shaped to 64K for going over limit, and its consistently giving me host lol

I wouldn't mind hosting. When I do host, the games are reliable. I also tend to play for big chunks.

At the very least, I'd like to know who's hosting, because I usually only find out I'm a host after I've quit.

Would love if that feature was added, Would solve a lot of problems with the ReagHost Quits/Lag/Migration Failures.

Or just let the game auto select Host with better connection and a good history of not reag quitting.

I'd rather have a local search, it sucks to get put in the same lobby as people from across the globe. But I guess a "Host Game" option could work too.

I would also love a 'play with local' option. To play with people in my area. Or at least 12 guys in my country, instead of it throwing people from america and russia together

    I would like that

But so would all the other assassin players

You might end up with way too many games hosted for the number of players online

Also, you would get those (shammas) who would host with bad connections purely so they can rape everyone

Remember this a a p2p game so when someone is host of course they won't get the lag but the rest of the room might.

I think if they make any changes to playing and finding matches it would be dealing with private matches first. You can't change teams. You can't stop the match start timer. You can't pick the maps. You can't kick people. Yea, I think private matches need to be fixed first.

Seconded, it would be nice to host a game instead of having to bounce around.

Dont like the idea of choosing to have host advantage.

Host advantage? I'm sorry, that made me .

How can you NOT want an option to host your own games? If you don't want to host, just "search" for games that people like me are hosting.

Pretty simple concept if you ask me.

As far as private matches go...I am not 13 anymore so my friends list isn't maxed out and the groups here never play with each other. I will never use the private matches option.

I like meeting new people, playing with different people. This way every game is a little different instead of "jon" always sniping in HIS corner or "Barry" laying down his turret in the same spot.

Give me an option to host my games. I have GREAT internet connection and can host no problems all day. I have a better connection than most other host I have played with and I live in frekin China!

Why don't xbox games allow dedicated servers? Even Quake1 had dedicated servers over 10 years ago. Why are we going backwards?

peer-to-peer (doom) --> dedicated servers (everything else) --> peer-to-peer (console games)
    joystick --> mouse --> joystick
super fast (doom) --> really fast (quake 3) --> medium fast (unreal tournament) --> slow and floaty (all console shooters)

I enjoy my Slow and Floaty moments thank you..sometimes saves my bum from getting killed *koff*

Though Would love to see a host button sooner or later. Would help a lot since now this games are feeling somewhat laggish at times..plus three host migrations in a single match is not fun thing to go through..

That's a great idea! Because the only people that are going to use the button are the ones who have dynamite connections, right?

Because THIS is definitely not going to happen.

Player: Oh man, my internet sucks! I'm lagging all the time. What's this, a host button? No more lag for me? At what expense? At the expense of others' connections? ::click::

Would you like a free Juice button as well?

This guy... Asking for a host button...

A simple host button just needed. Just to start a lobby of his own. With no other powers. Though some games give there host or players certain powers, there just mainly there to punish trolls and spammers.

But the problem with that system is that it can be abused. Just take a look at Left 4 Dead 1 and 2, Great games to play online, Lobby Host plus certain players who tend to abuse there powers to kick people right on the spot if there "Sucking" or "Modding". And with this game.. well people do get really steamed about losing or dieing from the same guy.
Just as a example. Lets say your kicking *** as a [Insert Kick *** Class here] and your just wtfpwning the other team. But your also getting one hell of a kill streak off of one guy. Now if this guy or anyone on the losing team had host powers like booting and what not guess what they might do just out of pure rage. There gunna boot you for some BS reason and keep booting if you try to rejoin. Losing all that cash you earned and those kills.
And even with a voting option it can still be abused.

If there going to add a hosting option for us lil players that will be juust great. as long you guys don't gives us any other additional powers like booting and whatnot.

Most online games detect your connection speed, right? (Most games the little bars or whatever.) Would it be difficult to have a minimum internet speed requirement in order for the Host button to activate?

Oh yes, please. A "host game" button or at least a "custom game" mode. That way I can play Grenade III over and over. :) (sort of serious)

Ah, reminds me of hosting 16-player games on TF2, playing 2fort and Dustbowl over and over. No lag, no lag for anyone that was in my party, just perfect.

I think a HOST GAME option
would be the only thing that can save this LAGGY game.
I live in ky, i have noticed most of the people i play with live in California.
that could have something to do with the EPIC lag
host lives in LA and i live in the boondocks

How do you know if you are host?
