Please DLC!

    I mean, can we have some small DLC like the ones that TA had... one new unit every certain time.

    Galactic war improvements, save load and resume anywhere, new subs and the unit canon don't count as dlc?

    The fact that updates are free makes it so that people don't see it as dlc :p

    Galactic War DLC update pack coming for nothing soon!! :p

    On a more serious note, maybe DLC will come when they completed their main promises for the game. There are still some things left to be added / improved upon but that list is getting shorter and shorter, so who knows what comes afterwards :)

    I think that the are DLC only if add new content for the game, like the subs and Unit Canon...
    dunno about the galact war (4gb of memory only, and I don't even try to play), but if they add new freature they are

    Well once GW is finished and fully fleshed out, it could be seen as a new feature.

    I won't mind buying a unit set or a seperate faction set as DLC, but it would means splitting up the community which wouldn't work. So unless it is a visual overhaul DLC it won't work that well with PA. Unless the DLC offers so much content that every active player just has to buy it ofcourse as in Forged Allience style. But that would be called an expansion set wouldn't it? :p

    Actually I think there could be a way a second faction as an official DLC pack could work: Like the custom commanders you need to purchase it for play, however as long as it's sufficiently balanced there is no reason why players without the DLC can't play against those with it...

    well when I said like TA, I mean Free...

    Also MicroTransation in RTS don't work... the guys that have more units can build every good unit, while the others will not, why do you think C&C was cancelled?

    they are working on galactic war at the moment ...

    also i don´t think just adding units like this would be such good idea .. many of the units in TA felt samy and either being weak for their cost or just outright making other units redundant ..
    the unitpool needs to be well structured ...

    i still like PA to have more mobility/flexibility options regarding multiplanetplay first and foremost

    this why a certain time, like a month, or even 3... but just to spice the game after a certain time

    they don´t promise anything deadlinewise considering what that caused in the past ...
    so realy the best you can do is to wait anyway ...
    everyone wants more content in some way or another but pushing them into timeperiods or deadlines won´t help

    this is why I also didn't putted a timeline in the first place... I just putted 1 to 3 months because it's a reasonable time between units, instead of, like TA one every week, making it umbalanced, w/ no reason, etc.

    Also they wanted to put at least 6 units on every tier an type... so if they started doing that they would acomplish this goal...

    i don't consider this nessesary in any way shape or form ...
    as i said before the most important thing is that the unitpool is well structured ... having units just to acomplish a in this case rather abitrary goal is a waste of time imho ...
    and we had a couple units more before but those proved no different nor intresting enough to the other existing units which was the reason they got taken out ... just take the stinger t1 aabot or the peregrine t2 asf as example ...

    I agree w/ you, but sometimes I fell that we could have some units... like an mobile radar for example, or a counter radar unit... making the same unit again would be waste of time, and this is why I like that they have a unit suggest thread, somewhere.

    The peregrine, for example I suggested to be a long range fighter, like the MIG-31, would lose for swarms of t-1, so best used when microed (in matches w/ an Air player), but they did a great job making it a interplanetary version instead.

    you have mobile radar in the form of satalites ..
    yes i do agree on having more stealth options .. i personaly would like to see a stationary stealthgenerator for fire bases aswell as a mobile one for sneakattacks ... the game could do well with a couple more "furyinducing" "cheesy" units/options :p

    We need more units so that we see more units on the field that can shoot ground other than dox, ants, grenadiers. Why are there only three T1 ground->ground combat units, inferno aside?

    Yeah, we shoudl switch to the Supcom method by adding in a scout that can also shoot! That'll make a huge difference!

    Or the TA method, where we only have a rocket truck! Or lose-the-game-units!

    List of BA T1 ground units that can attack ground that I can think of right off the bat.

    Arm:
    Jeffy
    Flash
    Stumpy
    Samson
    Flea
    Peewee
    Rocko
    Hammer
    Warrior

    Core:
    Weasel
    Instigator
    Raider
    Slasher
    Leveler
    AK
    Storm
    Thud

    All of which are useful.

    And I probably forgot a couple since I recall there being a couple of new T1 units (Most new stuff is T2 though). Seems like there was a rocket truck for T1 vehicles (Janus for Arm I think?) along with a T1 arty vehicle.
