Please add local search to the match making system

I live in Australia and there is not any effective ways to find a local game.
Most of the times I get thrown into an American game.
When I am having a high lantancy, bullets and grapple just wont register at all.
The quality of connection is extremely important in a multiplayer game.
So please add a local search option or improve the matchmaking system.
