no, the countdown is on but I think the countdown shows the time remaining based on your time zone, not the eastern...i may be wrong.

My countdown will reach 00:00:00:00 at 2:00 A.M. (Central Time, US) on August 11. Are you two or three time zones ahead of me, Smitty?

I think Eastern is 1 or 2 different...I know we're -5h from GMT. Now that I look at it more, it will hit zeroes for me on Aug 11th @ 2am est. I'm confused.

Guys, don't expect the countdown to be accurate down to the minute. Our friends at Microsoft told us that game will probably go live 2AM PST. If I hear new info before that then I'll let you guys know.
