Player not dying

    Yesterday i was playing and i came across a Support guy that did not die.

    - He was not juiced, or if so, the graphics did not show
    - I was not lagging, and even if i was, it had nothing to do with it. I was using my hurt-gun, which finds it's target, and we were running circles around my fully hacked fireturret which should kill him in seconds and we were running around for like a minute before i died.

    The player was however at 5-2 at that point. So he did die other times (maybe thrown off or the bug was temporary.....)

    Sounds like that guy was strictly better at this game than you. If the disparity between your levels is great enough the game will simply ignore any damage you would have dealt to him.

    Also, in laggy games sometimes the hurt ray will attach and make noises, but without actually dealing damage (just tap left trigger and it should reconnect). And I'm not sure, but I would be surprised to hear it, if players could run circles around turrets if they were close enough (just depends on the turrets ability to rotate).

    The game might still be lagging even if the frame rate isn't suffering or the game isn't giving any of it's usual obvious warning signs.

    But on a more serious note, i do not suck at the game.

    I reconnected several times, because his health was not draining.
    I am not sure what you are saying about the turrets, but i believe the FireTurret rotates extremely fast. Too fast to outcircle....

    I am quite sure it wasn't lagging. But even if it was, my turret would still damage him, since that has nothing to do with lag.

    i have noticed at times a support guy i would be attacking would not take any damage also but i thought it was just lag even tho other enemies were taking damage as if there was no lag.. so idk what the deal was.

    I notice now i did not mention he did not take any damage at all. Like what HeavenNights said.

    I only had this happen once now though.

    <edit> and please, it was NOT lag, really.
