Did uber say if they still play an actual GW? The current single player GW is far from what GW should be, and it is plain silly and boring. No interaction, just a chain of single player skirmishes with certain rules (what you can build). GW is the worst stretch goal so far... So my question: Was there a recent statement by uber about it?
No recent statement. Uber doesn't say much. However, from what we have heard, Uber will be turning GW into a turn based meta game with commanders moving all around the planet. At least, that's what the original campaign was supposed to be. And then there's clan wars/multiplayer GW that'll make an appearance someday.
GW is the 3rd iteration of the SP thing, the others were deemed too complicated to be fun. Which is why the current model is very minimalistic.
