I have been searching for weeks and I have yet to see a (Teamspeak, Mumble, Ventrillo, Dolby Axon, etc.) server intended for TA, SC, and (most importantly) PA... The Uber Ent Community Mumble doesn't really have any channels for this, which is why I don't include it in this. I've taken a purview of the forums, then extensively searched for any thing related to VoIP programs, so please don't tell me to search the forums (that might not be a common response, because I haven't spent much time here, if so, please forgive my impudence.)
I'm not entirely sure whether you mean you're looking for a VoIP system to talk about the game now, or if you want them to include VoIP in the final game. If it's the former, I do not know. If it's the latter, here's some discussion on the matter: Dumb question: do we has VOIP? The value of integrated VoIP in this RTS VOIP SteamWorks API Support for integrated VoIP Include VOIP!
I'm afraid I'm unfamiliar with the name 'FAF'. [edit: on Google-ing (the best thing to due when you hear an unfamiliar term, saves you from ridicule ) "faf game" I came up with 'Forged Alliance Forever' I'm going to assume this is what you meant. Is the VoIP system matched based, or can you enter outside of a game lobby?] This is just an opinion based on experience, but generally integrated VoIPs just give me problems and have a higher performance cost than their separate equivalents... I also like being able to tweak and mod my VoIPs client side, giving me more flexibility and control. That really isn't important though, cause it is just my personal opinion.
both, you can join mumble and if you want put you in a chat with your teammates automatically the overlay by default blocks the scoreboard, so you do need to move/disable it. but that's easy enough in the overlay settings
