So, my firewall is detecting http://pa.raevn.comm/ as being a malicious URL in Kaspersky's database. Can anyone confirm if this is the case, or if it's somehow a false positive (despite it supposedly being picked out in the database)? I was about to download it before getting that message. I really want to mod the game, but not at the risk of a virus, malware, etc.

    Thanks!

p.s. I didn't want to include it as part of the main thread since I felt it was off topic as it's about the website, and not about the functionality of the program itself.

false positive for sure. PAMM is a great program, don't worry.

I think you are not the first one to report this. Raevn has afaik no idea why that virus database lists his domain as malicious, but it is a false positive for sure. Most of the mods are hosted at github as well. I think only the mod manager itself is still hosted at raevn.com. (?)

I was under the impression that the Pandalabs (or something like that) virus scanner often thinks that raevn's mod manager is a trojan virus of sorts due to some overzealous heuristics. That might get the domain it tries to connect to into the database maybe. But I'm just guessing about that.

Thank you for the replies! I just need to find some workaround for the false positive. I had installed the mod manager, but every time I refresh, my firewall goes berzerk with the "malicious url" etc. response and doesn't show the page.

    *Edit, got it working :)
