Hey guys, Let me start by saying how excited and thrilled I am at the progress of PA. You guys at Uber have really set the bar high for this game, and it already looks fantastic. Anyway, down to business. The Planet Editor, at least for me, is one of the most exciting features I've been looking forward to. In the last Livestream, I remember Mavor mentioned that it would be released to the public "soon". I know the standard answer is "when it's ready", but how far along are you guys to a public build of the Editor? Is the editor going to be fully fleshed out? IE : Ability to make Ice or Water or *stretching* Metal? Or are we going to get a Limited version? Thanks for all the hard work and a fantastic community! -ShadeusX
Well he seemed to want it asap and it is greyed out in the main menu now so I would expect it pretty soon.
Yea, they've talked about the editor a bunch so I'd definitely say that it'll be out sometime before the Alpha moves to Beta. Hopefully sooner rather than later because it's going to be a blast to play around with custom planets.
