I was wondering if anyone else thinks that it would be cool for the Pitgirl to be a playable class in Exhibition Blitz or something. Maybe she could have some gun that welds stuff. I dunno, give me your thoughts.
for every one class that is created, a second is needed in order to maintain balance. Tank>Assassin Sniper>Gunner Gunner>Support Assassin>Sniper Support>Assault feel free to debate these however you want or change em, but you get the idea. I read your other post i dont think you realize that the competitors in this sport are clones! Thats why they can respawn, it isnt the same person it is a new clone. As much as i would enjoy pitgirl throwing down, if they where to clone her. I dont see a welding torch being the best weapon lol. Shes a mechanic, shes the one who sends in the robots you pay for, and the reason the turrents are built so quickly. The pitgirl does work off camera.
well pitgirl could have a class and it would not need another unless you want the voice of mnc to have one as well to balance that out. but as your thing shows a good list there but here is mine from what i can see Assault>All there you have it! Beats every class its so over powered on all classes since it is balance type i understand but w/e its cool i just started using it now.
There isn't any real counter-class to the assault, but it isn't overpowered. He still dies in seconds from constant minigun fire. He still dies from one headshot. A charge 3+deathspin should kill him. My point is that he can be killed, and you still need to know how to use him properly to be good. Back on topic: I don't think Uber should add any more classes. There are balance "issues" already with the current six.
you can make the pit-girl a class to affect bots or something, give them more offensive firepower or abilities or make more bots or something, but not have amazing killing abilities. that would create a better sense of objective, and make her usually suseptable to snipers and gunners, as she wouldnt be an offense class. now, for that quote. assassin>sniper? maybe when i play assassin and use my shurikens after they freeze me (they take forever lining up a headshot, most snipers dont realize an assassin can still kill you from a trap). i have never died against a support as an assault. ever. they cant chase me with shotgun, im too fast. maybe support>assassin lmao. anyway, its a general feel that armor defeats offence, offence defeats range, and range defeats armor. its many factors and a general rock-paper-scissors, not a definite this beats this.
wait, it does make sense that the pit-girl doesnt become a playable character, like mickey cantor lol. but i still like a bot-augmentating class. wouldnt it be cool?
i think her passive 2 should add a bot support aura, and she should have a gun that heals bots. that would be awesome.
Disclaimer: I'm not saying this should happen, but I like the idea. Take a support, remove his airstrikes, replace with AoE bot hack bomb (moderate damage to players, turns enemy bots over at Lv2, gives friendly/enemy-hacked bots faster RoF and range at Lv3). Passive 3 will add more aura with additional bot health and damage rather than just support health. Maybe replace the firebase with something else too, not sure what at the moment. Oh, most important thing... hacked bots will give kills to the player who first hacked them, unless they've been overtaken by a stronger hack (or enemy hacked).
yeah, a support can heal, and a bot-master can increase friendly bot firepower, weaken enemy bots, do to bots what a support can do to turrets. its just an idea. if they ever add more classes and turrets in mnc2, they can consider this and see if they like it
wow really? i didnt know that. guess we should scrap the idea then *wads up thread and throws it into the trash* :| but seriously, the support is a "combat engineer", i was thinking more of a passive engineer with more support powers and less shotgun. not to replace the support, just to be aimed differently. c&c renegade had a normal support and an advanced support. then a add-on had a "medic" support, a "mechanical" support, and a "structure" support. so dont wad this thread up and throw it in the garbage, its still a good thought in the distant future if not for anything else. its a proven idea that has worked in other games.
