People not running armor?!

Recently, I have noticed a lack of people running armor. Just today I went 28-17-0 against armor-less assassins, snipers and tanks. I don't mind them being easy kills :lol:. I just felt bad for them. Personally, I run gold Armor on all of my custom classes. I think anyone who doesn't is dumb.

Do you guys run with Armor?

I have a setup for each class. One includes armor the other does not.

Which one normally does better?

Gold armor isn't mandatory on all classes, like gold RoF on tank or sniper, or maybe gold acc. on gunner, but armor is typically best at silver or gold.

Depends on my opposition and the class I choose. I'd say 50/50 though.

I like to run Armor/ROF/Clip on my Sniper. I feel the the drop off from Gold to Silver for ROF is not as much the drop off for Armor.

I play Support, but I typically run Armor on Bronze... The reason is because that the way I play Support, you need Skill Recovery in Gold or Silver, but you also need Rate of Fire for self defense. Self Defense is also a must when playing Support (in my opinion), so I set that at Gold, Skill Recovery at Silver, and Armor at Bronze.

Also, I'm an odd support. I usually only move up my Turret to mid to enemy base once I get quite a bit of money, 3 Hack and Firebase, my team is pushing into the enemy territory, and I have most things upgraded. That way I don't really have to rely on Armor or anything.

TL;DR , some ways of playing Support are an exception...

Honestly some people just want to have fun.

I run a tank with gold crits/silver speed/bronze rate or gold clip/silver crits/ bronze RoF just for fun.

Many people like to throw a twist into the game and have some fun by keeping it fresh. Personally this is why I sometime run armorless classes

I run Armor/ROF/Skill on my Support.

I play a aggressive Support. So I need the extra armor. First I place my Firebase is a bot lane, over-heal it, then leave it be. After I place my firebase, I go hunting with my Shotgun. :lol:

Also learn how to play sniper scrub. I'm sick of all these stupid pseudo pros wanting to play with the big boys so they brag about stomping pubs, with armor no less

I'll have to try that sometime... :lol: But again, that's just showing another way of playing Support. Honestly, almost everyone pretty much plays their own way. You can't read a guide and then strictly follow that guide. It's like stealing someone's identity.

Support is actually the only class I have one setup for. Gold RoF/Silver Skill/Bronze Armor. I support my team heavily so very rarely am I running around solo.

Haha! It's a really fun way to play Support. You're right about the guides. I have read a few of them, and most of them have some useful tips, but I never play the way the guide says.

Personally, I find the Gold Armor Endorsement unnecessary for many of the classes. Armor is usually in there somewhere, but rarely as Gold. The only ones where I always have Armor as Gold are Assault and Tank. For my primary class - Support - I use Rate of Fire, Armor, and Skill Regeneration, in that order. Rate of Fire is simply critical for Supports. Putting Armor in its place is stupid, even if you're planning on using nothing but the Shotgun and rushing the front lines.

Don't make sweeping generalizations.
