The PAX East hotel site is now live: http://t.co/FfS3nAqe Enjoy! Eka says he wants to plan big for this one so book earlier rather than latet if you're going. I booked at the Waterfront since it connects to the BCEC itself.
Re: PAX East Hotels I've been wanting to go to PAX for ages and this might actually be the year I can make it.
Re: PAX East Hotels FYI, I live just outside of Boston. If folks have any questions about the area, feel free to ask.
Re: PAX East Hotels I also live just outside of Boston on the south shore, which is why I was asking.
Re: PAX East Hotels I say "just outside of Boston" because if I mention a city other than Boston then people would have no idea that I meant "near PAX" Also, since I'm an assassin, I like to keep the exact details of the location of my underground base... secret. When I said "if you have any questions" I meant like "what is the 'duck tour' in Boston and should I go while I'm there?"
Re: PAX East Hotels Already booked my flight, looking for a hotel now. Coming in Thu night, leaving Sun Night. Probably going to share with someone on the Room sharing thread over at the PA forum. Unless we can get a group of Uber forum goers to split a room.
Re: PAX East Hotels I might forgo a hotel this year in favor of a Hostel. $140 for 3 days is a hard deal to beat, and has free breakfast and free wifi. I always found it ironic that the big expensive hotels charge you for breakfast and wifi, when cheaper places are giving it away
Re: PAX East Hotels Those that bother to use more expensive hotels are more price inelastic than those who use cheaper ones.
Booked my hotel as well. Wife is coming with again this year. Sadly I won't be in the Westin this year, but we are just down the street in the seaside. Now if they would open up panel submissions, and media registration we would be set.
