Just an Idea. This is where Console gaming are better than pc, they can join in a party. That was one of the only thing I loved about Modern Warfare 2. Can we get that in Monday Night Combat? Or just something like that, that would possibly mean +50 hours in this game for me at least.
Something like that would very likely require EVERYONE to hand over their servers to UE, and you'd likely be unable to choose which server you will play on. When people try to play specific servers in L4D2 with a similar system it hardly ever works, even with the console, since it just ups and creates a listen server should it not like the time of day or the alignment of the stars.
It's just like. Winning is 100% of this game, and not being able to team up with a friend, is just stupid. And I think it's just a really simple update, with some coding on the servers.
simple coding... rofl  Anyway, you realize you can basically form a team with your friends already, right? Go team red or blue. Simple. 99% of the time I get on the team that I want with my friends. Lot's of people rage and say we stack teams, but idgaf.
Party system ruined the game on 360 for me. Every game just became so lopsided, with an arranged team stomping a random team. Not much fun to be on either end of that. I can understand wanting to play with your friends. A lot of people make the argument that they're just casual players wanting to play together, not any better than anyone else. The problem is that a system which allows that will also invariably lead to pubstomping. Good players tend to add other good players as friends. People rarely add bad players as friends, so aside from the occasional set of casual friends, most parties would be made of good players. If you have a team that you want to play with, then arrange scrims with other teams. Don't ruin the pub scene by stacking the teams.
Sorry, I'm not going to ensure fair play and take hours of my life searching this forum so my friend and I can make sure we are facing against another 2 people in a fair match. Its too difficult to get more than 3 people on the same team anyways with the "preferred" team option.
Yea, you're right about getting more than 3 people on same team. I also agree that it's just retarded not being able to play with your friends in pubs in order to make it fair by scrimming with other players. At least when I play with my friends, we just joke around by doing stupid stuff: (eg: all going support and spamming gapshots and airstrikes  ) Oh, and one more thing... I haven't really seen very many good groups of players. We've went against a lot of people with certain tags on. Apparently we're not the only group with people playing with friends and joining the same server. Unfortunately, not many players seem good at the game yet. There are a few exceptions mind you, but I do not see them in every game, just every other game. So there is very little competition at the moment.
Honestly, the reason I used a tag is because pre-team selecting using a tag supposedly tried to put you on the same team. XD
Yeah I see that it might ruin the game. I wouldn't really use it for making pre made groups, I have one friend who also has the game, and I would like to play with him. But we can just choose the same team and it will work, so yeah no biggie.
I really don't see a problem with a better lobby system. If I really want to team up with a couple of my friends I would make a game and have them join but I would want to find players before the games starts which means since I am hosting I would want to be able to start the game when I want to. This would help the "party system" quite a bit.
