PA loads but window is black

So I decided to buy PA today and when i finished dounwloading it I decided to play it but it keeps on coming up with a windowed screen showing nothing but black.

OS: Mint 15 olivia
Kernel: x86_64 Linux 3.8.0-35-generic
Resolution: 1920x1080
CPU: Intel Core i5-3330 CPU @ 3.201GHz
GPU: AMD/ATI Curacao XT [Radeon R9 270X]

If you running game though Steam it's most likely PA#2343.
