Pa laucher has stopped working

Hey everyone, i bought PA on steam and i decided to download the client on the official website but whenever i try to run it , the icon appears but not the window and i automatically have the message 'uberlauncher.exe has stopped working" if anyone can help me

I'm having the same problem, to the point that I can't even install the game. I've read through all the associated threads but nothing worked for me. He's a summary of what I tried, maybe you'll have better luck:

Installed Latest updates for my OS
Installed Latest drivers for my video card
Installed Visual C++ 2012 redistributable x86 and x64
Tried replacing msvcr110.dll with the one in Planetary Annihilation\stable
Ran the old launcher, which downloads the new launcher, which then crashes
Ran Uberlauncher, which downloads the new launcher, which then crashes
Deleted then entire game folder and tried to reinstall - but the launcher crashes.

Can you attach a screenshot of the error (with details) you get (assuming you get one)?

I'm having this error, nothing pops up then i have the error message :/

Dont use the launcher itself when using steam :\

Did you try verifying all your steam files for PA?

But i don't want to use steam with PA i verified the files using steam but the thing is launching the game with steam is working but i don't want to :/

I noticed @SXX mention earlier someone having this problem was using Win7 64 Swedish. I notice you are using french. Now, this may be a longshot. But, is it possible the launcher is having trouble launching on Windows set to other languages?

I am not certain of a fix to force uberent to launch ignoring this. I will dig around.

Ok, I have something. Try this:

Control Panel -> Clock, Language, and Region -> Region and Language -> Formats (tab)

Change format to English, then accept, then launch launcher. If it works, let us know here. This is not a permanent necesity type thing, but if we know that is the cause of the error for a fact, it will in fact be a "bug" and the launcher will be lined up for a patch to fix this.

You dont want to use a method that works? PA runs fine with steam?....

With Steam, game is laggy, impossible to install mods and i can't get my commander ( theta if i remember corrrectly) so i prefer trying to solver this error to use the official launcher

Yes it is one of launcher problems, but I'm not sure what exactly cause crashes...

It's don't think it's going to work because regional settings don't affect paths and encoding specific settings...

Is there anything to do then to fix that crash :C ?
