This would be a request to Uber... I would like make discover PA to a friend and for so buy an other game key (starting to have a few of them, but can't manage to make them reproduce, so no choice...). However, i would like to toss a few $ more to Uber and less to Valve. Problem : right now, Steam price is $25 (discount), Uber Store price is $49 (no discount). I think it could be good if the discounts were synched. Would help to get a few $ more to Uber ! (and make me buy the gamekey i want, because friend don't use Steam...). Edit : game price on Uber Store is not $40 but $49.
Tell him set up a throwaway steam account. If he successfully follows through getting into game main menu with his account, it will activate his Ubernet account, and he can use standalone from his forum name afterwards. He won't technically be bound to steam from what I understand. If that is suitable, get him a steam key *shrug*
I think it´s quite strange that there isn´t an "addAnotherKey"-Option anymore, as I´ve backed this game with 40$ (todays regular price) and got two Keys+ one times the Soundtrack for it. Of course, it´s nice to have an advantage for early backers (nearly no costs---> nearly no risk!), but it´s hard to see that you cannot buy another gift key anymore... ...would proberbly invite ~2 or 3 other players if I could---> and would be great for GAs in GOG-forums...

Then don't ask him. Make a Steam account for him, link the key to a forum account, then gift THAT to him? In order to change username, he would need to contact support@uberent.com, but meh.
Too complicated I'll just wait for an other sale on UberStore or on HumbleBundle... It's not something that must be done NOW
