I try to run PA and i get this instead "The program can't start because d3dx9_43.dll is missing from your computer. Try reinstalling the program to fix this problem." I updated my graphics drivers, so does anyone have any suggestions for this? I tried reinstalling this several times, no-go.
Download and install "DirectX End-User Runtimes (June 2010)" http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=8109 1 - Run it and extract it to any directory. 2 - Open this directory and run DXSETUP.exe
It's just extracting. Create folder on desktop for example and then choose it. PS: I update my first answer, check it.
I got it to work. When I went to download DirectX, i didn't checkmark to download the entire package of DirectX. Furthermore, when i went to install it, i had my internet browser open so it failed to fully install. But, once i downloaded all of DirectX (it took about 3min) I ran the installer from where i downloaded it to, made sure my browsers were closed, and wala, it worked.
