pa.exe stopped working

Hello there.
So, I've bought the game today. Watching stuff at YouTube, i thought it was going to be fun. Well, I still do, but since half a minute after the planets are generated I get a black screen and a "pa.exe stopped working" window both in a Galactic War mode and in Multiplayer, I cannot experience the game at all!
So I guess this calls for a "Save me, Obi-wan Kenobi..." joke.

So I should just run my game without Steam Community Overlay and this will do?

For me it seems to have worked, it haven't happened any more... till now.
I also updated both video drivers (intel+AMD)
