My friend recently downloaded the game and was unable to play due to error messages upon entering the game. When he is in the main menu it is completely fine, however the problem occurs when he starts the game. Right when the game launches, the ram usage goes to what is expected for someone playing the game and a message comes up that says PA.exe has stopped working. This happens every game, even with one basic planet. We have tried updating all video card drivers, restarting, uninstalling, and selecting video card preferences. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Check my signature and ask your friend for his DxDiag file. Upload it here and I'll try to check why this is happening.
same happens for me, but occasionally it works. it´s been like this since beta. The only difference is that my PC isn´t completely useless for 10 minutes now.
