Hello. Ever since the release of Gamma I have not experienced any .exe crashes. Quite recently my graphics card drivers were updated and about that time PA got updated as well. To version 70289 I believe. After that I started to experience PA.exe crashes while playing Galactic War. The crashes occurs around 7 minutes into the game. The game freezes then a transparent white layer covers the screen then a sign comes up saying the .exe has crashed. I suspect it's the new drivers that's causing it since no PA update caused such crashes before. But I checked the drivers and everything seems to be fine. I have not been able to replicate the crash in a normal skirmish game against AI, only in Galactic War. When I read the log file it says something "ERROR Unable to load tool spec". Maybe that's the cause, I have no idea. I verified the files to see if something was corrupt or missing but everything seems to be in order. I play the PTE version and I use the Uber Launcher. I've included the DxDiag and the latest log file.
Hello, Your Dxdiag looks fine for the most part. Are you playing a new save or an old save? The GW crash is probably a known issue and has happened to other users, so you're not alone.
The PTE comes with much more bugs and crashes, especially if you have mods installed. Try playing without mods (if you have any) or play on the stable build.
