So I just bought the game on steam, but it's just crashing on startup. Sometimes it gets to where I can see a menu and it asks me if I want to go through the tutorial (then crashing before I can click). Sometimes it just goes to a black screen then crashes. Sometimes it just crashes without even leaving the desktop. I've reinstalled the DX9c redistributables, done a clean install of my video card drivers, verified the local files, run as admin, run the specific 64 bit and 32 bit executables and restarted my computer. I'm using my integrated sound card and have made exceptions in the firewall. No dice. My rig: Core i7 920 (stock clocks) 6GB DDR3 GTX260 (896MB, 216 core, 625MHz factory core clock) Windows 8.1 Pro x64 I've attached two of the log files and my dxdiag dump. No error dumps because it doesn't even seem to realise it's crashed. I just deleted the local files and reinstalled. Works fine now! EDIT: No. It worked for one game, but when I tried to launch it again it crashed again. Grabbed the PA launcher, installed it through that, no issues since then with multiple games. Try to launch it through steam = crash.
