and all the minimum requirements are met..... I can load the game, but usually when the planets are loading, or shortly after, it says PA.exe has stopped working....

    We'll need your computer specs

-Go to start and search 'run'
-Press enter, then search 'dxdiag' in run
-click 'run 32/64bit dxdiag' (something like that)
    -then click save all information'
-save that document to a folder and upload it here on this thread.

This should also be in the support category.

    Same here.

@grenader985: As @KillerKiwiJuice said, please post your Dxdiag on the forums so it will be easier to diagnose the problem. Also, you may want to post your last PA log file.

The PA log file is located in "C:/Users/YourNameHere/AppData/Local/Uber Entertainment/Planetary Annihilation/log".

You will have to enable "Show hidden files and folders" in order to see the AppData folder.

Hi, the main issues that can prevent PA loading up:

1: Out dated graphics drivers. Your machine will have integrated Intel HD graphics on the cpu so get the latest drivers directly from www.intel.com. According to Dell your laptop *may* have a discreet graphics card from AMD, in which case you need to get latest drivers from www.amd.com (note even if you do have the discreet card, it's a good idea to update the Intel drivers anyway).

2: Limited ram: PA struggles if it doesn't have enough memory. If you are using the Integrated graphics memory is even more of a problem as the graphics card uses some of the system ram. Really you ideally need 6gb or ram or more (ideally 8gb).

3: Windows updates: Sometimes problems can arise if windows isn't fully up to date. Ensure you have all the latest updates installed.

If you need any more specific help I'd need to see a dxdiag for your machine.
