PA crashes when trying to load planet.

When ever I start a fight on a planet, PA.exe crashes.

I can navigate 'solar system' but when i click on the fight button the planet begins to load then after a few seconds the game crashes.

I have tried restarting Steam and my PC, verifying the integrity of the files etc still no joy.

Any help would be appreciated.
