So, let my preface this by saying I realize this is the Alpha, I'm not complaining, and yes I realize that us Linux users are a "minority".

I have a couple questions in regards to bug #1390 [Link]. First, is this actually a Coherent UI bug, or a PA bug? And probably the most important, and most annoying question, is when it might be fixed/any current status on this?

I backed this game since it was first announced on Kickstarter, and haven't really had a good chance to play it yet, since this bug makes the game basically unplayable. (Cursor is invisible unless you move it, and when you do the area artifacts like crazy)

Once again, not trying to complain, just would like to put some attention on this bug in hopes it gets resolved soon.

    You should check this topic:
    https://forums.uberent.com/threads/disappearing-mouse-cursor.48482/
Here you can add your system information:
    http://pa.lennardf1989.com/Tracker/index.php?do=details&task_id=1420

There is possible explanation of bug:
    https://forums.uberent.com/threads/backbuffer-fighting-when-mouse-is-focused-on-window.50208/

Actually it's not real bug of game, but it's more likely result of very non-standard way to handle cursor and it's incompatibility with proprietary drivers. At least on AMD cards it's might be mostly fixed by using open source drivers and it's completely working with specific settings of proprietary drivers.

PS: As Linux user you should understand that when you report bugs you need to include information about your system ;)

Obviously, but seeing as this really affects everyone on proprietary drivers running a composited WM, I would have figured they could reproduce this with little to no effort.

Yes they can, but probably there is fix for you too. I actually got cursor on both open source and proprietary drivers.

From the looks of things, those were with ATI drivers though, not Nvidia. My system info is in the comments of the bug I have linked in the first post.
