PA Alpha Release questions

Hi all, first time poster but long time PA fan and backer (at least i think i am, because i have access to this area... I discovered this game a bit after the kickstarter ended but i managed to throw you guys some money via paypal.. (40$ i think? have to check that)

So, with the alpha aproaching i have some question that i didnt found aswnered in here.


- In terms of features, will we see off planet action in the 1st release or are we yet stuck in 1 planet? are the mechanics for offworld building implemented or will they be in later releases?

- will we get the server creator with alpha or do we have to connect to your servers to play?

I am part of a gaming comunity in my country (GamingPortugal.com) and i would like to spread the word about this game because its fairly unknown in these parts. The way we do it is a live stream of gameplay with some players, and youtube videos later on.

From what i have seen from the latest streams, planetary action is limited to 1 planet and because that is the "main" feature of this game, i would like to know if it will be present and if we are alowed to stream gameplay or make youtube videos of it.

I have read that there will be no space combat... So are we limited to send an "egg" with a commander to other planet or do we get transport ships and assault ships to storm an already occupied planet? the way i imagine, movement between planets must be similar to sins of solar empire no?

As it was said in the stream that anyone who paid something will get alpha, i have some doubts as it doesnt state that there.

I think this is a misconception.

All this information is already available.

You will only get alpha access if you've paid for Alpha access.
The alpha will only have 1 planet in the beginning.
The server creator will not be available during alpha. There will only be Uber hosted servers.
There has not been any official word on streaming. (several threads though)
Movement between planets will likely be similar to SoaSE indeed.

Oh that's what Alpha access meant... lol... just kidding.

Yeah, so basically you can join the game in September when the Beta starts...not before...but... maybe you can still upgrade?

done! upgraded to the 90$... now i wait..
