Build 50240: * Custom Games now allow for free for all up to five players, and for team based gameplay up to 10. 2v2v2v2v2 to 5v5, or anything in between * Roster in the lobby now shows you who's there, and what their status is (in case you're waiting for someone to click ready) * Snapping when building now. Should make base building go much quicker. * Commander has a normal fire weapon. Makes him a lot sturdier early game * A number of rendering pipeline improvements that should bring performance closer to where it was before 50083 * More updates to the recon system. Don't forget to scout! Bombers, Artillery and other "build for demand" ammo users should be a little more discriminating about choosing targets, especially if they're given an explicit order * Selection boxes and effects show underwater * Pole Markers so you can tell your north from your south * Updated builder lathe effect * Commander has limited built in radar now

Dem Changes Really like the grid building, works really well. Maybe some optimizations when you're near two structures (moving mouse away makes the building bluprint move closer) --- INTERESTING BUG: if you use this snapping on a slope, the buildings will continue at the angle of the slope allowing you to build floating buildings. However it appears that only the blueprint will float, my builder is currently firmly on the ground keeping the buildings on the ground. ---- dropbox image: Poles are kind of a nice touch, but I can kinda see why people might not like it. Lathe animation looks pretty good (though I feel like they might need to fall towards gravity right at the destination) definitly an improvement from pixil lathe. Matches are cool, immediatley noticed you can't actually start a game without at least 1 AI, game auto ends. F11 doesn't seem to show bases anymore, thats good. Radar is a nice improvement, haven't been able to test firepower (since I started vs an AI before anybody else seemed to get the update). and the f11 cheat I use to find the AI isn't working, lol. Water buildings seem only possible to build near the shore.
The snapping is really cool! Can't wait till some sort of click and drag functionality is implemented. Also the commander changes are greatly appreciated, does he still have a dgun though?
The commander's Uber Cannon is still there, it just has a significantly shorter range than the commander's main gun. To use it you just have to use a manual attack order when in range (right click on an enemy unit or selecting the attack command on the menu and left clicking).
Cool! The new look is AWESOME! Will be looking forward to a special hotkey for it though, so I can still use the main cannon in close range without blowing my load with the uber cannon. Also a separate range ring.
I don't seem to be able to join any games with more then 4 people, the screen changes from the lobby and just sits there with either moving to lobby or just nothing showing.
You left a debug output function on, the snap to buildings function spews out tons of console entries:
any time i try to join a game with 4 people already in it, it seems to autoboot me or some crap :cry: this may demand a hotfix
We can make a game of up to 10 players, but once a game has 4, I am unable to join the game and others told me the same.
Just had my first successful play through! Love this game. Server connection seems to be pretty tenuous right now. I'd say 75% of the games I join disconnect me, or never connect in the first place. edit: the "C" key also selects both commanders. Accidentally sent my team mate's commander into my base.
