I kinda got this idea after BattleSwarm: Field of Honor (RTS vs FPS, pretty much dead now.), and keep in mind this is a very loose idea. With the way that the playoff mode works, its perfect! This would break up the monotony of robot battles, that are scripted and never change, and put hours of new content in the game. Here is what I mean.

    Over-mind Mode:

    - Up to 1-6 players on the defenders team.
    - 1-2 being the robot over mind.
    - Winning conditions:
    - Defenders defend their money ball for a set amount of time, or rounds.
    - Over-mind's destroy the money ball and/or kill a set amount of players (Survival Over-mind Mode.).

    Defenders:
-The players start out like any other, they build turrets and upgrade their skills like in regular robot battles, don't really need to change at all.

    Here is the fun part:

    Over-Minds:
-The Over-minds have total control over the spawn portals.
-Different spawn portals will be activated every round, so they all can't just spawn in the back door in the first round, only in certain rounds can they use those portals. Or on certain maps, portals are always at full capacity. ( I fear this will create favoritism.)
-The Over-minds can choose what robots they want to spawn for that round, and can change the robot type every round.
    - The more one type of robot is spawned, the weaker the robots become each round, this will prevent the use of just one robot.
    - Different robots have set spawn times, slims spawn faster than blackjacks for instance.
-All should be spawned except Jackbots and/or bouncers, which are boss types, so only in certain rounds the computer will spawn these bad boys.

This will make the defenders think on their toes. And add a strategic side to the game.

    For instance:
    - You can "Zerg Rush" With Slims.
    - You can make a solid shock force of Blackjacks and Gap Shots
    - Buzzers mixed in with a boss Jackbot will make fighting the Jackbot tougher without skills.
    - And other combinations.

What a fun and balanced game should look like:
    - Defending against robots will be a challenge because you will have to think hard about what type of towers your going to build, and from where the enemy will attack.
    - The Overminds will have to be creative when choosing which bots to spawn.
    - Everyone gets cash at the end of the game!

    In Conclusion:
I know this suggestion seems like a stretch, and might force some new maps to be made in the process (Ones with one or two huge entrances, one with several entrances, one on high ground, low-ground, maze type.), but with some MNC tinkering I think this would be an awesome addition to this game, and make the 20 dollars worth it.

I can't help but see the lack of responds to my idea. Is it bad? Is it bad form to bump it?

To make this post less ugly ill post a picture of a unicorn:

There ya go. Don't pay attention to the bulge, I know, its distracting.

I have a suggestion, It should be done in a "round" atleast 4 rounds, that way everybody gets to play as the "over-mind" and as the defenders.
