I never thought I'd get it, but I finally got "Over 9000" - "...and 10,000." I played as a Support on Spunky Cola. For the first time, I set up a 3.3 Rock-It Turret on the nub under our Ejector switch. Even though the enemy Supports hacked it, I managed to hack it back. I then proceeded by setting up a 3.3 ShaveIce Turret on the nub just outside of our Moneyball and a 3.3 Firebase in between that and the 3.3 Rock-It Turret. So began one of the worst @$$-whoopings of all time. I'd like to say I got 20 kills with my shotgun and Heal/Hurt gun, but most of my kills came from the turrets and Gap-Shots. Instead of juice-chaining and killing the enemy team, I used the juice to taunt and get more money. It was complete and utter annihilation. Final Score: 50-14-0 :mrgreen:
Good job! I just come back from a round on Spnky and that spot is awesome. Even with a 2.3 you will earn money fast.
yesterday I went 55-3 w/ gunner on Steel Peel. I was $300 off of an over 9000 even though I got an uber streak and over 30 turret kills :cry:
full props to you, radex. you probably have the first legitimate +9k that wasnt juice whoring as assault or gunner.
I just managed to get it as a tank ($8041 + win). Juiced 20 times and 70 / 80 of my kills i was juiced I thought it was near impossible to do it as a support and you didn't juice whore. Not many people can do that.
Good method, I may learn a thing or two from you! I ALMOST had it once with a Support on Spunky though, I ended up with 39-0. I'm never going to manage to do that again.
Heh, I also got an over 9000 as a Support on this map with a 3.3 Rockit on the front nub if the other team can't take it out, it will basically feed you money all match
i got 8100 as a sniper and would have had over 9000 but royalal joined and tryharded my money ball before i could enter the enemy base edit: in overtime
spunky and support is my favorite set up. Throwing air strikes under the walkway from the opposite teams base always gets me some kills. I got a 3 in one with a lvl 1 strike 2 days ago. But props to you man, over 9000 is my MNC goal.
3 months ago i made 55-21-1 with support on spunky, my score was of 9,171$ and thanks of the win i reached 10,000$, i think it's impossible to get more than 10k because the game say so ahaha
Speaking of which, after MANY months of trying when I received the game, I FINALLY get a melee kill on someone. I can't believe it was that easy.
This thread is ruining the community. Usually when I get that setup on Spunky, either it ends really quickly or, if the opposing team has good gunners/supports, the front turret gets killed before I can get that high off of it. I've definitely got some of my better scores from it, though. But nothing like yours yet! Congrats.
