Out of Range Error when starting the Game

Hello i wanted to play the game again since the new update came out but i encounter the problem that everytime i try to play it my screen shows me the error out of range soo i hear sound but no picture.

I saw this error only when i played a game on too big resolution or Hrz.

And since i cant change the size of the resolution since i cant see the menu im kinda stuck what should i do?.

My Screen is 1280x1024

Open up your \Documents\My Games\UnrealEngine3\HostileGame\Config\HostileEngine.ini

Look for resx= and resy=, set the values to 1280 and 1024.
Save. Launch.
