Times we've either benefited or been screwed over by latency.

I remember the time I headshotted a stationary Gunner twice and did absolutely no damage.

But I remember being on the other side of that equation, too.

From when I bought MNC on Christmas 2010 to today. I play on 300+ ping all the time.

Same here. I'm scared to spawn bots on Lazerazor I've lagged off the edge that many times. Jackbots scare me too - jump over a groundpound to find yourself flying out of
the arena.
I'm still waiting for my beneficial lag. :lol:

As Assassin, I lunged away from a clutch of enemies as they started to notice me. I then fell through the bottom of the map, teleported back up in the air, got grappled, then I did the "flop" animation like when your grappler dies before actually dieing a few seconds later. It was weird.

Freaky. Never had the map geometry lag out.

It's always laggy.

In two months virgin media are giving out 100 m/b download and 10 m/b upload for 7 pound extra a month.

i was on ammo mule..at the center of the map with my support..i heard an assassins than i started shot her and she falls down in the under tunnel..after two seconds she grapples me..the fact is that i was up and she was on the underground (she was the only assassin of the enemies team)...

Every #&$%ing time I play games online and according to speed test sites I've got a connection that should be lag-free. I'm still AMAZED when I can jump over a Jackbot shockwave. The rare time I'm not hit before I see it, I end up landing on it because my connection decided to be good just long enough to find a new way to &%$# me over.

Yeah, 100 mb advertised speed. I'm supposed to get 20, but I'm lucky to get a half.

Thats not a problem with the company, thats down to either the lines in your street or in the cab.

Yeah, the cable is very important, that's why I brought up switzerland.
93% (I think it was that much, at least somewhere above 90) of the cables to the houses are fiber cables. The houses themselves have normal CAT 5/6 cables.
That's why they almost have the advertised speeds. Not those terrible connections almost everywhere else.

Then again, I'm a PC gamer so I can apply an easy TCP/IP fix and reduce lag by about 30-50ms.
