Trevor Day's is the best one. "Gays can all go kill themselves they are sinners and will burn in hell". He says this with a Neil Patrick Harris avatar.
That made me puke. In a day and age where we have science, logic and reason people are STILL spouting crap out of their mouths "God says this.." or "God condemns that...". You know what it is? It's self-centered, close-minded and discriminating individuals who condemn that. This is the reason why our species is sinking quickly into the primordial muck.
This seriously makes me sick. Not the Oreo supporting Homosexuality part, the idiot farmers who believe everything they're told because "JESUS LOVES YOU". No offense to any Christians here.
Really, people are fretting over Oreo and homosexuality when Dr. Pepper endorses Sexism. Shame. Although, how could you feel anything negative towards soda ever?
>A company supports something fundies don't like. >Fundies get mad. Why am I not surprised? We have murderers walking the streets. Scumbags and sociopaths get rich off of misery everyday. Whole countries treat drug addicts and criminals as victims while ignoring people that actually need help. The last thing anyone needs to worry about is who loves who. Edit: >"Gayism"
Look at those arguments! Such order. He even bulleted his points! Fabulous! I hope you were on the school debate team, because you are a fabulous debater. One might even say, a master debater.
It's called sarcasm. It's not. I've always been amazed at how defensive someone gets when you come outright and say that though. To be honest, I have nothing against someone who doesn't support gay marriage or gays in general and vice versa. The real problem I have in that debate is someone who doesn't strive to understand the other sides ideals. The answer I normally get when asking someone "why don't you agree with what they say?" is usually: "It's just wrong." That answer doesn't justify anything. When someone is able to, without a doubt, prove that wrong and right exist and that the latter will always improve society, then I'll concede that point. There's nothing wrong about not supporting gays, in the same way that there isn't anything right and about not supporting it either.
I disagree. It's blatant discrimination and condemning someone for something they can't control. I'm going to say something a touch controversial, but I personally consider homosexuality a mental disorder. So I have a mental disorder. The reason I consider it as such is because it's atypical human behaviour, which is amazingly contrary to the core instinct of reproduction. One of the purposes of life is to continue the existence of life, and that's why it's a disorder in my eyes. So you don't hate someone for having a mental disorder. Hopefully you see the wrong in making fun of the mentally handicapped, and I don't consider it any different. You clearly don't understand the feeling behind homosexuality, or the cold science of homosexuality.
Don't have to. Funfact: The institution of marriage is much, much older than Christianity is. That immediately invalidates anything the fundies have to say on the matter. If they invented marriage, then they'd have a point, but they didn't, so they don't.
Before I go on: I was actually arguing that there isn't anything wrong with not supporting people being gay; not gay marriage. Now then. What's your point? That argument doesn't hold any water today. Modern day Christians don't care about that. Telling someone that "your point is invalidated" is not gonna make them give up and go home. Try to understand the way some of these people think and feel. Not everybody who doesn't agree with gay marriage isn't racist bigot like you might think they are. Also, you can't prove that the people who made marriage said that "gays should be allowed to marry too."
These types of discussions are like a revolving door and that is why I stay away. "Judge not lest ye be judged thyself."
