I really dislike joining games that are half way through as it's always impossible to get into the flow of the game with no skill upgrades when everyone else is maxed or almost maxed, so I was thinking maybe an an option at the bottom to turn off showing ongoing matches. I'm sure I'm not the only one who quits when I get shoved into an ongoing match.

It's what, 30 seconds in a lobby compared to 15 minutes ingame? Something around there. Your server browser would be next to empty.

It would be nice if there were enough servers to implement it effectively, but I really don't think there are.

A solution could be making Uber Entertainment Official Servers await 12/12 players before starting. Better would be to improve the stats system :)

Either my suggestion or this needs to be done as I find myself quitting more games than I play due to me joining a game late and getting raped as I'm not that good a player yet. It's a total unfair advantage and it causes you to drop points.

The solution is to stick it out. Sure, you may join a game part way through and be at a disadvantage, but it happens just as much to everyone else. Be a man and stay in the game, and suddenly, instead of joining 6 games mid-game in a play session, you're joining 1 or 2.

The only problem is that rage is generally the main reason that slots open up on servers with an imbalanced game, which wouldn't be helped by the solution.

    Best solution:

Give joining players the average $ the opposing team players have earned.

You might be asking "but why the opposing team?"

Well, this is benefit in two ways. It means that if you join a team which is losing, it gives you the benefit of the doubt assuming you play as well as someone on the other team. In a winning game, it gives you the losing amount of money so as not to "kick them while they're down" and put you on an equal field with the enemies.

Raw money is incredibly powerful. Instant juice for the late games, just go gunner/tank and wreak havoc.

It would be better if you got all level 2 skills if you join after the second jackbot(first is too soon), and all threes after the third.

Or you could just wait till next match, I'm fine with the current system.

This is a problem is many games, and it's just something you have to deal with. Starting with level 2 skills might work, but showing people which games are in progress would not. The whole point is to fill lobbies as quickly as possible, not doom teams with a player or more missing.

How would you deal joining a game where the whole other team is juiced raping the moneyball? It's lose/lose, quit you lose stay you lose either way it's ******* ridiculous how broken and imbalanced it is.

Be a man and suck it up. Play like your normally would, it's not like losing means a whole lot.

Take a loss (Which might lower your skill by 0.01?) and play the next game.

That's not really the problem, the problem is then finding another server which is within my ping range and isn't near the end of the match.

I'm not good enough to be able to fend off a fully upgraded team camping outside my base, I'm still learning and trying each class to find my niche.

Ok, I thought you got it but let's do the rundown:

    1. Join server
    2. Your team is losing
    3. Suck it up and play like you normally would
    4. You lose
    5. Wait
    6. New game
    7. You can now start from scratch and try not to lose

It's easy. No leaving server, no bitching, no raging, etc.

Yeah I would do that if I didn't get raped everytime and lose a **** ton of points, and don't start with me about points. I know 99% of you play for kills which is the same thing.

Nobody except you cares about the stars. I thought you got that by now.

If this was a game where I really and truly cared about the kills, I would stop playing it. One of the things I like about this game is that you can have a negative K/D and still have a positive impact on your team. Every Pacifist MVP I've gotten recently has killed both my star rating and my K/D. Am I still having fun? Yes, yes I am.

Just stick it out for that one game, and then after that you'll get as many full games as you want

    Or join an empty server
