Opponent starts with 150 metal and 30K energy starting economy

Has any one else seen this and if so what is the deal? No modifier in the start screen and smashed with a "Boom" rush ?

It's a standard troll I'm afraid... They just up their multiplier by 5 (the max) a second before game start so you don't notice....

That definitely looks like a 5x eco modifier. I'm not sure why it didn't show in the lobby though.

Someone should make a counter-troll mod that detects this and instantly changes your own to match it.

That's a bug that shouldn't be possible. Don't worry about it, unless your opponent's commander is inside of a gas giant, in which case the bug's been used on you.

There's a resource modifier in the lobby, look to the right of all player's names.

Does changing the ratio "un-ready" players ? It definitely should. There should also be some warning / icon next to it when all ratios are not equal (only for multiplayer obviously)
