This is a team players tactic. Upgrade 1 skill. Then use the 200 left over to build a rockit turret. Its simple and give you a great advantage in defending your base.

Hmm... 1 Rockit Turret or a lvl 3 LazeRazor. Or how about more than 1 turret?

I see a lot of people blindly building Rockit Turrets, but what's the use if you don't have the money to upgrade? Personally, I tend to build LazeRazors, Iceshave en Long Range Turrets a lot more than Rockit Turrets. They are cheaper and you can upgrade them a lot faster.

I believe I've read that a level 3 laser turret does more damage than even a level 2 rocket turret, so unless you can shell out the cash to fully upgrade the rocket it's really not worth it. And for the price of one fully upgraded rocket turret ($1400) you can have several fully upgraded laser turrets, or even longshots if that's your thing.

I almost always build a couple of turrets right away. Most of the time it's a laser or shave ice though. A Shave Ice in the right place can be brutal.

Yeah, it depends on the map I'm playing. Sometimes I start with a LazeRazor and a Long Shot, other times a ShaveIce and a Long Shot/LazeRazor. I rarely start with a Rockit Turrent.

As a support I get my hack to 2 then build a longshot, hack it then build and upgrade a lazerazor. I think that's way better than going for some extra airstrike off the bat.

^ this depends on if you play offensive or defensive support, when i play support i normally upgrade hack and support right off the batbecause i like to use the extra health from support upgrade to hack the enemys turret, with the first support upgrade, throwing down your fire base before you start hacking gives you just enough time to hack it before you will die

I upgrade 2 skills on my assassin because I can't survive without my precious skills. I probably should make some turrets but I have no idea what turret to make and where to put it. When I make a turret I usualy make a lvl 3 lazer blazer, long shots seem too weak and fragile to make it worth the money.

Someone should make a guide with images of the maps and such. I know that there's no map images yet but maybe the devs could give us a few screenshots of the overview of the map you see in the spawn screen.

^ Well, Long shots are best placed at the back but with no roof over their head. Lasers are best at the choke points because not only do they do great anti-infantry damage but they only have limited range so... Laser is the nub closest to the underpass, etc.

Rocket Turrets are best left where they are imo. Last line of defense is the most poewerful anti-blackjack turret... seems to make sense.

On some maps/in the later stages/against a team full of assassins, drop the Long shot spots to Lasers and put the slowing-aura turret where the laser was (front line choke point), that way you can see the assassins as the aura affects them, and, you wont have wasted a turret spot on a longshot when longshots will find it difficult to kill assassins.

Longshots are best against other turrets/defensive players, because they're basically a mortar. Laser turrets are much better against the fast moving players but struggle in the later minutes when there are a lot of blackjacks spawning. Rocket turret is the best then.

Slowing Turrets are fairly specialist though, not a great option unless the situation really calls for it, not something you want to be spending money straight away, is my point.

    Lazers are good.

I wish shaveice had more HP. But they are very good.

I absolutely hate when someone builds a Rockit turret. They cost entirely too much money to upgrade, I'd rather just build and then rebuild a level 3 LazeRazor turret. Costs a lot less money, and I think it is just as effective.
